Uniting to Save Animals, U2SA, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Frederick Maryland, is dedicated to making a difference in the health and welfare of companion animals.
In the United States, animal shelters care for 6-8 million dogs and cats every year and, of those animals, approximately 3-4 million are euthanized.
Our mission is to reduce the number of unwanted, homeless pets in our area by creating a free spay/neuter program for individuals and families who meet certain income guidelines. A low cost program is available to those who do not qualify for the free program. In addition, we will promote adopting animals from the local shelter and rescue groups to reduce pet overpopulation and we will educate the community about unethical pet breeders and "puppy mills."
Uniting to Save Animals is an all volunteer organization... Please Help Us Help Animals
